March quite possibly will be remembered for years to come. The ultimate baby face turned heel. A Revolution took place with a Hollywood ending. When you get into the month as a whole however, it's highlights greatly outweigh the rest of the month. The road to WrestleMania feels somehow white hot and ice cold depending on the narrative going into the event.

March kicked off with Elimination Chamber taking place in Toronto. The final PLE before WWE lands in Vegas for 'Mania. Two Chamber matches with last chances for a title opportunity at the "grandest stage of them all". The show opened with the drama packed Women's Chamber. The focus of the match was on, Naomi, Bianca Belair, and Liv Morgan. Naomi and Bianca have been a successful tag team up to this point after Bianca's previous tag team partner Jade Cargill was taken out of action after being attacked in the parking lot back in November. Leading up to this Bianca was convinced by footage that it was Liv and her tag partner Raquel who were the attackers. As the competitors all made their way to the ring, Bianca already locked inside her pod, Liv and Naomi were the ones to be starting the match. Before Naomi and Liv could even lock up Jade's music hit.

Paladin Writing edit of Jade Cargill attacking Naomi

As jade enters the chamber, she takes a step towards Liv begging to be spared. Jade lets out a "I know it wasn't you" as she pivots hard to Naomi. Jade rains punches and strikes onto Naomi as Bianca screams, helpless to stop whats happening. Jade tossed her all over the cage before getting separated by officials. As Naomi attempted to crawl out of the cage, Jade slammed the heavy steel door into her face as one final hateful blow. Jade marched out of the arena with her head held high, not once looking back at the carnage she delivered. The match had to continue. Liv immediately taunts Bianca, mocking her for not believing her, and that this is all her fault. Despite Bianca being the next person allowed in the match, she was too distraught to focus on her opponent allowing Liv to get momentum in her favor. Roxanne Perez fit perfectly amongst the stars of Morgan, Belair, Bliss and Bayley. However due to Alexa Bliss' recent return and the ongoing rivalry of Bayley and Roxanne, Alexa ended up feeling like the odd one out. Despite not having a real story coming into this, Alexa looked fantastic and I'm happy she's back on the roster. The match came down to Liv and Bianca, it looked like Liv would secure the spot at 'Mania, however all it took was for Bianca to catch Liv in the ropes before she could hit her ObLIVion finisher, Bianca planted Liv one final time with a KOD and somehow overcame the stress and shock.

The show continued on with a special tag match, Toronto's own Hall of Famer Trish Stratus teamed up with the WWE Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton to face Nia Jax and Candice Lerae. This was a good holdover for Tiffy before she faces Charlotte at WrestleMania, and pairing her with Trish helps legitimize her further. Candice will one day get the flowers she deserves, her in ring ability was unmatched.

There are few moments when the words "fight forever" feel true. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are one of those examples. The two battled once more in their home country, this time unsanctioned. Which just means no rules, and in kayfabe: WWE isn't responsible for what happens. (Not like Wrestlers don't already pay for their own insurance). KO and Sami battled for just under 28 minutes. With the house lights down, the fight these two had felt intimate, it didn't feel spectacular. It was upsetting, these are two characters who still hold love for the other, but are so deeply scorned. One of the biggest spots of the match was Kevin push Sami off the top turnbuckle to send him crashing through two stacked tables outside on the floor. Both KO and Sami were dropped head first onto an open steel chair.

The match changed pace when Sami grabbed a steel chair wrapped in barbed wire. Sami hit KO twice with the weapon before opening the chair and tripping Kevin's face into the barbs. This allowed Sami to build a small set up of chairs, and using the barbed chair as a bridge between two others. Sami drove Kevin into with a blue thunder bomb, that still gives me chills when thinking about. Somehow KO mustered the strength to still kick out. As Sami looked to finish the match with a Helluva kick, KO launched him into the air and planted him with a pop-up powerbomb. Sami then got a chair placed around his neck and was driven into the ring post multiple times. Finally Kevin did what he does when he wants to really hurt someone. A powerbomb onto the edge of the apron. Kevin pushed Sami into the ring and won the match. Kevin seemed disappointed that Sami didn't persevere further. He ripped up the protective padding on the floor, exposing the concrete beneath. Before Kevin could do anything more, Randy Orton's music crashed into the air, the Toronto crowd exploding in excitement. Kevin almost shut down for a moment, before preparing to fight a demon from his past. Randy ultimately hit an RKO in the center of the ring. This was not enough, Randy began to stalk Kevin who was struggling to get up. Randy wanted to punt Kevin's head off. As Orton began to run with the intention of punting KO, he was tackled by officials separating the two. This had my 12 year old self jumping out of their skin.

The Headlining match of the show was the Men's Elimination Chamber. Basically every competitor in the match (except for Logan Paul) had a justifiable argument to win and get a shot at Cody's World Title. Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre began the match. Drew was eventually the first eliminated by Damian Priest. The frustrated Scotsman took his anger out on Damian despite being eliminated. Logan Paul took advantage of the carnage and went ahead and eliminated Priest. Leaving him, Rollins, Punk and Cena. Thankfully Logan was the next to be eliminated. This left the most interesting of the competitors. Seth got eliminated following a GTS and an Attitude Adjustment. Leaving the long time rivals Punk and Cena. The two exchange looks at the WrestleMania sign before Cena extends an arm for a handshake, which Punk responded by pulling Cena into a GTS. Of course, John kicked out. John popped up to his feet and hit Punk with an AA, which he kicked out of. John looked to finish the match with the STF, Punk managed to kick Cena away giving him a moment of reprieve. Seth Rollins who had yet to leave the chamber, hits a devastating stomp, driving Punk's face into the mat, leaving him a helpless target for Cena to lock in a tight STF, which Punk inevitably passed out in. All while Seth's freaky self watched with a frenzied smile. John Cena has earned a title match at WrestleMania.

His celebration didn't last very long, as Cody Rhodes headed to the ring as the chamber was lifted into the rafters. After some seemingly friendly off mic banter, the two embraced. Crashing the party was... Travis Scott? Why the hell is Travis Scott- Oh okay he's with The Rock I guess? Dwayne did his silly goosebumps emote and then made his way with Travis to the ring. The Rock told Cody to embrace him, and accept the offer. The Rock then did his best Meredith Grey of Grey's Anatomy impression. "Pick me... choose me.. love me." The Rock confessed he not only wants Cody's mind and body but he NEEDS his soul. Desperate much?

Paladin Writing edit of The Rock and John Cena standing over Cody Rhodes

Cody gave a wandering speech that left us watching guessing until the end, Cody can't give his soul to The Rock because he's already given it up for wrestling. Somehow still uncensored on Peacock, Cody tells Dwayne to go fuck himself. A huge pop from the audience, and even John Cena. John embraces Cody one last time. Mid hug the rock gave a hand gesture to Cena. John's face morphed into a scowl, a look that will be etched in time. John low blowed Cody. The WWE Champion was then beaten to a bloody pulp, even being choked with his own tie. The icing on the cake is getting a busted ear drum from Travis Scott laying into him. The show went off the air after The Rock whipped Cody with a belt that read "CODY'S SOUL". This was the most viral moment in pro-wrestling that I can think of in YEARS. I had family and friends who have never spoken to me about wrestling or even had a passing interest about it reach out asking what happened and how. For any moment in wrestling to breach containment like this, I'm glad this was it.

Monday night RAW opened with CM Punk shit talking Cena and The Rock, and then pivoted to Seth which led to a huge brawl between the two. A good opener continuing stories that closed out the show over the weekend. OTIS stepped up to GUNTHER unsuccessfully. Lyra retained her Intercontinental Title against Ivy Nile. The War Raiders successfully defended the Tag Team Titles from American Made.

The series of successful title defenses on this show lulled me into a false sense of security. Rhea Ripley put her World Title on the line against Iyo Sky. However the match had an unexpected variable, #1 contender Bianca Belair would be ringside on commentary. Bianca's mere presence felt like a thorn to Ripley throughout the whole match. Anytime Rhea had the upper hand with Iyo, she would lose focus and mouth off to Bianca minding her own business at the desk. Rhea eventually breaks accosting Belair saying "Why are you rooting for Iyo? Are you afraid to face me at 'Mania?" Before she can responded, Rhea shoved her. Bianca does not let that slide and gave a shove back. At this point Rhea has taken too much time and heads back in to the ring. Rhea looked to win emphatically to prove to Bianca that she was a threat. She dragged Iyo to the top rope, and attempted an avalanche Riptide, but due to the distractions Iyo was able to reverse, sending Ripley crashing into the mat. Iyo it her moonsault and became the new World Champion, it looked like even she couldn't believe it.

The fallout from this match was caught on a backstage digital interview by Jackie Redmond. A distraught Rhea confessed her anger in herself. She admitted that she should've known better, that she needs to stay focused. A truly new perspective for Rhea's character. She expressed the hurt from Bianca, as they were each others WrestleMania dream opponents. Yet she was cheering for Iyo? Rhea crumbled into herself calling herself stupid over and over again. She is isolated and scared. If only THIS Rhea is the one we get on TV for the next few weeks.

The first NXT of March featured some guest appearances, from the Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green and Piper Niven who faced Sol Ruca and Zariah. The less experience picked up the victory after the US champ was dropped with an F5 and was hit with the Sol Snatcher back-to-back. The Hardy Boyz made their first time arrival in NXT carrying the TNA Tag Team Titles. Their appearance triggered several NXT teams to come out and try and get eyes on them. The segment came to a head when the NXT champions Fraxiom laid out a challenge to The Hardyz at Madison Square Garden.

Jordynne Grace was set to face Cora jade one-on-one, sadly the match was cut short after Cora suffered an injury. The initial concern was her re-injuring her knee, however Cora later confirmed that it was a concussion scare. She wrestled a week later, so I think that's a good sign. NXT came to a close with a new North American Champion, as Shawn Spears defeated Tony D'Angelo. The in ring story was Tony's lingering back injury, which came to be the nail in the coffin for the Don's title reign. As Spears went for his C4 finisher, Tony attempted to escape, but twisted his back so awkwardly it made me cringe. Spears took advantage and secured his first title in WWE. Sure!

The final Dynamite before Revolution was packed with action. A big 8 man tag opened the show: Will Ospreay, Powerhouse Hobbs, Mark Briscoe, and Orange Cassidy against Bryan Keith, Mark Davis, and The Murder Machines: Lance Archer, and Brian Cage. The chaos and carnage continued after the bell, despite Ospreay picking up the victory he was left laying once the segment ended. "Win, lose or draw the target was always Will Ospreay". COPE took out Wheeler Yuta in his journey to isolate Jon Moxley. Kris Statlander teamed with Thunder Rosa to take on Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford. Where Megan Bayne stood dominant over the two former champions. MJF was overwhelmed with frustration and attempted to burn Adam Page alive. As he was being dragged out by security he was screaming "LET ME PROVE MY POINT". A kind of funny ending to a pretty strong segment.

Mariah May and Toni Storm came face-to-face one last time, which Mariah opened with spitting in her face.

“Look what she made me do to someone I loved. You are nothing without me. That title is nothing without me. You survived me in Australia but there is no surviving me at Revolution because we will both go down together. I am the woman from hell, and I am dragging you down with me. Isn’t this what you always wanted? A trilogy with your greatest costar. We can have a Hollywood ending.”

AEW's Revolution was overflowing with great matches, with two notable exceptions. Hurt Syndicate versus The Outrunners, and Jon Moxley versus COPE, both ended up being disappointments for myself. However I think we should talk first about the match that should've been the main event:

The Hollywood Ending

Paladin Writing edit of The Hollywood Ending

The year defining story line came to a bloody bloody end. If you need to catch up on how these two lovers came this far, go read Adriana's feature ..the fall and rise of Timeless Toni Storm. This is a definitive match of the year contender, Do not be surprised if this is what I say when 2025 closes out. This match was destined to end like this, two women bloodied after putting the other through hell, falls count anywhere and no bars held. Mariah headed to the ring decorated in white, her face covered by a wedding veil. Toni entered alongside Luther, before she could make it to the ramp, the fight began. Mariah pulled a Taser out, which Luther desperately stopped. In return for foiling her plan, Mariah kicked him in the balls, and dropkicked him through a table. A breathe later Toni is driving Mariah off the stage through a table. Shortly after Toni dawned a crimson mask of blood following a piledriver onto the steel steps.

The two competitors pulled out buckets of broken glass and tape. Toni was challenging Mariah to wrap her fist in glass. This is where Mariah's confidence dwindled, Her face contorted as she had to wrap her hand in tape and shove it into the pile of glass, just to try and keep up with the woman she tried to consume. She isn't built like Toni Storm. She isn't TIMELESS. Mariah began to bleed after a left hook to the face. However this string of blood wasn't enough for Toni, She drove a spike of glass into Mariah's head opening her wound. As if the violence couldn't get worse, as Toni went to a boot to the face, Mariah broke a champagne bottle right between her legs. After a top rope hurricanrana and her MayDay finisher onto broken glass, somehow Toni Storm was not defeated.

With glass embedded into her skin, Toni stalked ringside looking for the infamous shoe that was spiked into her head all those months ago. Mariah began to run, inevitably collapsing in exhaustion. There was no escape for her, Toni whipped the Championship title across Mariah's back several times, each lash penance for the betrayal of Mariah. Toni's revelry in revenge almost costed her the match, when she lifted the shoe high above Mariah's head and taunted her. This gave Mariah one last chance at victory and hit another MayDay this time on the stage floor. Mariah and Toni brawled on top of the table set up on the stage. Toni pummeled Mariah with the shoe, striking her head at least a dozen times. Toni then piledrived her ex-lover through the table, sending her straight to hell. Toni pinned Mariah retaining her title. This match was destined to end like this, two women bloodied after putting the other through hell. Laying together lovingly bloody, face to bosom, and unconscious. This was their Hollywood Ending.

Normally when a match that great happens on a show, the next match has no air. The audience and viewers become exhausted leaving the following match to feel a bit flat. Los Angeles did not have this problem, and how could they? The match immediately following was Konosuke Takeshita and Kenny Omega. Kenny's first PPV match since 2023. Takeshita was cerebral, the whole fight The Alpha targeted Kenny's stomach. One of the most brutal looking spots of the match was Kenny being dropped onto the side of a table right onto his stomach. The smash mouth match came to an end after a series of roll up attempts that left Takeshita without a title. I expect us to see Alpha vs. Omega once more in 2025.

Paladin Writing edit of Kyle Fletcher and Will Ospreay before their cage match.

Somehow LA still had gas in the tank for the steel cage match between Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher. This contest was spectacular, so spectacular that Will Ospreay admitted that he had to apologize to his girlfriend for stressing her out. Before the match began, Kyle and Will stood across from each other atop the cage, Willi Ospreay baked in light and LA singing his theme song. Fletcher standing across from tanned and hidden in shadow. A far cry from the Kyle Fletcher of the past. The carnage of this match maybe felt less impactful compared to Toni/Mariah 2 matches prior. In an attempt to throw off Ospreay, Fletcher's white boots were already stained from Will's blood from a previous attack. The absolute highlight of the match was the time stopping Spanish Fly from the top of the cage. This was the spot Will had to apologize for. The descent felt like an eternity, I can only imagine how it feels for Fletcher and Ospreay. The match came crashing to an end with Ospreay driving Kyle with a Tiger Driver '91. A move that Will swore to never use again in fear of the damage it could cause his opponent. It was his last resort to put away his former student. Ospreay left victorious.

The main event of the night was COPE against the tyrannical champion Jon Moxley. The build up for the match was a bit systematic, but it did feel like COPE would leave as Champion and finally uprooting the Death Riders. However by the end of the 27 minute match somehow things were exactly the same. Moxley and the Death Riders still had an iron grip on the title and on AEW. Somehow AEW was left in a less interesting state following this. For months Christian Cage has been lurking near the Death Riders waiting for his time to cash in a title opportunity against Mox. With his former tag partner and now enemy Cope as Mox's opponent, Cage's presence was much more present, many even speculated that Christian would leave with the title. When Christian finally appeared in the match, and turned it into a triple threat, it very much felt like there would be a new champion, protecting Mox from being pinned but pulling him out of the cold title picture for the time being. Instead Christian's appearance was to spare Cope the loss, as Christian was choked out by Mox so he could retain. The invested audience groaned loudly, at Mox's victory. As a fan of Jon's work, it's a shame that this story that began so thrilling and engaging feels like it is fizzling out, and overstaying its welcome.

There is a lot of speculation that Tony Khan and AEW are holding out for a certain wrestler to return from his trip to Mount Everest, to become the next world champion. Now there is many reasons I personally don't want this to happen, one of which is his serious abuse allegations, that have not been properly addressed by AEW. The other reason is, AEW's world title and it's prestige has fallen off a cliff, somehow on the shoulders of one of their most important talent. Revolution tried to end on an exciting note by having Jon's next challenger Swerve Strickland make one last appearance by diving off a short balcony onto the death riders. This was a cool ending, but was not enough to compensate for the almost half hour match that felt closer to an hour.

The following day WWE had their own steel cage match, between CM Punk and Seth Rollins that although maybe was not as thrilling as Fletcher/Ospreay the night before, was definitely a strong main event for an episode of RAW. As the match appeared to be reaching its own conclusion, The Original Tribal Chief has his own plans. Roman Reigns returned for the first time since the Royal Rumble, and ripped Seth out of the cage. Which gifted him a victory in the record books. Roman decimated both Punk and Rollins. Paul Heyman attempted to check on Punk before Roman speared him in half, much to the anxiety of Paul.

WWE continued their stay at Madison Square Garden for another night, this time for NXT Roadblock. The show featured a huge tag match for the TNA Tag Titles, put on the line by The Hardyz against the NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom. Fraxiom experienced their first loss in a while, I suppose not the worst way to lose. Jordynne Grace overcame Roxanne Perez, a clear stepping stone on her path to gold in NXT. Je'Von Evans looked to finally even the score with Ethan Page who has been targeting Evans for weeks. A fitting way to end this feud was a New York City Street Fight. Je'Von is an incredible talent, and Ethan is a sponge who works as well as his opponent. The match had some brutal spots that somehow both men walked away from by the end. Evans got the revenge he wanted after hitting his springboard cutter on Page who had a steel chair around his neck. Following the match, Je'Von was demolished by the mysterious new faction in NXT. A group of 4 guys, definitely not dressed like the shield, came in from the crowd and launched Evans into the air and planting him with a powerbomb.

Paladin Writing edit of Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia at NXT Roadblock.

The show was headlined by a momentous Title-for-Title match between the North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer and the NXT World Champion Giulia. This really was an exciting match to watch. The stakes felt big for these two superstars. The winner would become the second women to hold 2 titles in NXT. Despite what Mandy Rose says, who unified the NXT World and NXT UK Titles, meaning the moment she won, the titles became one. The length of this match makes a lot more sense now understanding that Giulia was working through an injury. Stephanie Vaquer defeated The Beautiful Madness, after hitting her second SVB finisher of the match. Confetti rained down in the Theater at MSG as Vaquer held both titles high.

AEW Dynamite the next needed to pick up where it left off at Revolution. The biggest news coming out of the March 12th Dynamite was the long awaited arrival of Speedball Mike Bailey, who was expected to be every wildcard in 2025 up to this point. Their arrival in AEW feels like a perfect fit. Their match against The Beast Mortos was a fantastic showcase of their skills for an audience who might not have heard of them before. Bailey conquered the beast with a spinning Crescent Kick that somehow didn't knock the horns off the beast.

Dynamite on the 19th was definitely a more important week than it's previous. The show had a huge #1 contender fatal 4 way match and two title matches.

It was Ricochet, Orange Cassidy, Mark Davis and the newly signed Speedball Mike Bailey. As you can expect, the three opponents felt like they were flying around the arena only to be stopped when crashing into Dunkzilla Mark Davis. Unfortunately this left Davis feeling more like a punching bag than a threat. The match came to an end when Bailey hit their signature back flipping knee drop onto Davis, and pulled him into a backslide pin. Which Ricochet slid in and also attempted to pin Davis. Despite Ricochet putting his feet on the ropes, the referee was not able to see it. The referee declare not only Bailey the winner, but Ricochet as well. Both men will challenge Kenny Omega at Dynasty for the International Title.

The CEO of AEW Mercedes Moné, defended her TBS title against the young Billie Starkz. Billie has been mentored by current ROH World Champion ATHENA, for sometime now. A spectacular match came from these two, with even Mercedes' friend over in WWE: Bayley even chiming in online and rooting for Starkz. Both competitors dug deep into their bag of tricks, with Mercedes pulling out her Tombstone Lungblower in attempt for the victory. By far the most concerning spots of the match happened back to back. Billie dropped Mercedes on the top of her head with an absurd looking electric chair driver. In an attempt to capitalize further, Billie attempted a flipping senton off the top rope to a prone Moné on the apron. To say this was high risk high reward would be an understatement. The CEO rolled out of the way leaving the 20 year old to splat into the apron. If that spot didn't take a few weeks of her career, I don't know what will. Billie's spine crashing completely aligned with the apron, which as we all know- is the hardest part of the ring. The evasion

allowed Mercedes to pull Billie into her crossface submission. Starkz tapped out. Truly the present and future colliding.

The next match was a Revolution Main Event rematch. COPE challenged Mox once last time. This time in a street fight. This time Cope was prepared, he attacked Jon before he could even make it to the stage. The only moment in this match truly worth talking about involves "Spike". Cope's weapon of his own design, a plank of wood with nails protruding from the end, a menacing tool that was never used like how it was on this night. Cope suplexed the champion onto the weapon. Mox's spine crashing right into the nails. Already a gross looking bump, that escalated to grotesque as "Spike" came up with Mox. Each nail being stuck into the skin of Moxley. This was a rare moment where I felt Jon was actually feeling this discomfort of the torture he puts his body through. It took Wheeler Yuta and the referee to safely remove the nails from him back. Seeing his skin be pulled in all directions is definitely nightmare worthy. This hectic match came to an end the way most of Mox's matches do, a bulldog choke on his opponent.

The last Dynamite of March, Brody King faced off against Kyle Fletcher. Brody tweeted the night before: "Protostar is by definition a giant ball of gas. “The Fart” Kyle fletcher, I’m gonna beat your ass..." Now Brody did beat the crap out of Kyle, butFletcher was victorious after a flying enziguri to King whow as on the top rope. Kyle the lifted up the giant, and dropped him on his neck on the turnbuckle with a Branbuster for the victory. You can win online, but you can't beat Fletcher between the ropes.

The Main event was the team of Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford against the new titled "Thunder Tits" the team of Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa, their name granted by Toni herself. A decent tag match, Thunder is always welcome on TV, and in fact should be on more. Penelope is a fantastic hand to have especially alongside a star as bright as Bayne. This was to continue to build Bayne as a serious threat to Toni, which was sucessful. Bayne hit her Fates Descent finisher and pinned the world champion clean. The show went off the air with a distraught Toni Storm afraid of the monster she will face at Dynasty.

Paladin Writing edit of Gunther's assault on Jimmy Uso.

March came to a close with Monday Night Raw. Heavweight Champion Gunther took on his WrestleMania opponents twin brother: Jimmy Uso. The match itself was actually pretty good! Multiple times throughout the match, Gunther would have a clear opportunity to win the match, even begin to pin Jimmy, but before the count could hit 3 he'd pull Jimmy up, solely to commit more violence. What made the segment stand out was what happened after the match. Following the bell, Gunther's onslaught did not end. The attack convinced Jey Uso to come and attempt to save his brother. Like moth to a flame, Gunther knew this was what would happen. Gunther attempted to power bomb Jey onto the steps, which a security guard ended up receiving instead. Gunther pulled zip ties from the downed guard. He wrapped the zip tie onto his challengers wrist and gouged his eyes, then zip tied Jey to the bottom rope. After cracking Jimmy in the head with the title belt, Jimmy emerged with blood rushing down his face. Gunther continued to brutalize Jimmy inches out of reach from Jey. Gunther wiped Jimmy's blood on his chest, even tasted it. Gunther choked the lights out of jimmy as blood covered the mat, Jimmy and Gunther. Gunther has successfully pushed Jey to the next level.

Paladin Writing edit of the chaos of Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley, and Bianca Belair.

March was closing out with Women's World Title match with a special guest referee. In a rematch from a few weeks prior: Rhea Ripley vs. Iyo Sky. This time Rhea as the challenger and Bianca Belair to referee. In typical EST fashion, Bianca's referee gear was handcrafted by her in her hotel. The first time ref did a great job officiating. Although Rhea Ripley thought otherwise. Multiple times Ripley has challenged Bianca's calls and even pushed her. The match heated up after Iyo dodged a big boot that crashed into Belair instead. When Rhea hit her Riptide finisher, Bianca was outside the ring still reeling from the boot to the jaw. This felt like the breaking point for Rhea who refused to quit bickering with her referee. After a ground and pound from Ripley goes too long, Bianca physically pulled her off. Not only did Bianca get slapped across the face, she then got rocked with a diving dropkick from Iyo. This was it for Bianca, she called the match, now ended in a double disqualification. Following the bell chaos erupted between the three. The turmoil came to an end after Rhea carried Bianca to the second rope to hit her avalanche Riptide. March closed out with a frustrated Rhea holding "her" title over her head.

April is THE month for professional wrestling. This year will be the first year I miss watching 'Mania live since 2008. I'll be enjoying time in Japan, while some of you will be enjoying time in Vegas. Catching up to all the great wrestling when I return will be a gift and a challenge. Thank you for reading, I'll meet you here again at the end of April.
